Anthony Anzalone
Owner/Director of Baseball Operations

Anthony is the Owner and Director of Baseball Operations for Between the Lines Baseball Training. Anthony offers a wealth of knowledge from his playing and coaching experiences.
Anthony is currently the Varsity Baseball Coach at his alma mater, Rocky Point High School. In addition, Anthony is the Head Coach for the 16u East End Aviators summer baseball team. Over the years, Anthony has developed numerous teaching strategies that have enabled him to successfully cater to many different learning styles and personalities.
Anthony is a NYS Certified Physical Education teacher, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Adelphi University in 2011. During his time at Adelphi, he was a contributing member of the Adelphi Panther's Baseball team (2009-2010), earning third team all conference honors in his senior year. Prior to his time at Adelphi, Anthony attended York College of P.A., where he was also the starting first baseman (2007-2008).
At Rocky Point High School, Anthony was a four-year varsity standout. In his junior and senior year, he led Suffolk County, Long Island in batting average, hitting .550, and .552 respectively. During his senior year, he earned All State, All County, and All League honors, and was the MVP of the Exceptional Senior Game. In addition, Anthony was also invited to play in the Vytra All Star game at Ducks Stadium that same year. He currently still holds the record at Rocky Point High School for batting average (.552), and career hits (112).
Anthony also has his Master of Science Degree in Special Education from Touro College, and holds a NYS certification in teaching Students with Disabilities 7-12. Special Education is another area that Anthony feels strongly connected too.
Anthony is currently a Physical Education teacher in the Eastern Suffolk BOCES agency where he combines his love for sports and physical activity with his desire to help students with disabilities.
In addition to teaching physical education and coaching baseball, Anthony is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has worked in the field for over 8 years, and currently trains athletes and adults at various facilities around Long Island.
